Physician Assistant Week 2018

Physician Assistant Week is a celebration of those who care for patients in multiple disciplines. Started by the American Academy of Physician Assistants as a one-day event on Oct. 6, 1987, this event aims to raise awareness of the PA profession, thank PAs for the important role they play in medical settings, and encourage people to enter the profession.

Physician assistants are essential for the smooth running of hospitals and performing of healthcare. You can learn more about what they do at this website.

We are happy to be doing our part to support University of the Pacific's Master of Physician Assistant Studies Masters Degree Program here at the Dugoni School. You can learn more about the program here.

Although our primary focus here is oral healthcare, we recognize the importance of supporting overall health. Physician assistants are a crucial part of that endeavor as well, and we deeply appreciate them.

To physician assistants everywhere: you have our thanks for the work you do to help keep people healthy!
