Dear Dugoni School Family,

A warm welcome back to each of you at the start of Winter quarter. Hopefully you had many opportunities to relax and recharge with family, friends, and other loved ones over the break.

The start of the new year is a perfect time to reflect and reconnect on our school’s purpose of helping people lead healthy lives. We look forward to a great year of supporting our students, each other, and providing care to the community as we strive to fulfill this purpose and continue building the best oral health education program in the world.

We have a lot of exciting work ahead of us and will have many opportunities to celebrate together as the year progresses. Thank you for being an important part of the Dugoni School family.

Dear Friends and Family,

Dear Dugoni School Family,

As we look forward to celebrating Thanksgiving, I want to share my gratitude for all that each one of you do as part of our wonderful Dugoni School family. You, as our students, faculty, residents, staff, and alumni play a significant role in strengthening our humanistic culture and helping people live healthy lives.

As you gather to share a meal with your family or attend our Thanksgiving meal at school, please take a few moments to think about those who are less fortunate, especially the thousands of lives affected by the wildfires in the counties of Butte and Woolsey.

Thanksgiving week provides a great opportunity for us to show appreciation for those who have impacted our lives, to pause and reflect on the positive and incredible good in the world.

Thank you… I am inspired by how much you give to the school, our community, and profession.

Happy Thanksgiving!

As we recognize the various traditions and cultures of all members of the Dugoni School family, I would like to take a moment to wish you a happy Nowruz — the Persian New Year.

This “new day” is celebrated at the vernal equinox by millions of people around the world in recognition of the beginning of spring. I send you good wishes during this celebration of renewal and new beginnings.
